Ares:
Xena, is there even a chance we could be together one day? I don't
know, maybe, you know one in a thousand?
Xena:
More like one in a billion.
Ares:
So you're sayin' there is a chance.

Gabrielle: [Gabrielle assesses her surroundings]
"The Elusyian Fields... only heroes wind up here."
[a Pause]
Gabrielle:
"Dead heroes."
[She looks down, realizes she is
completely naked and covers herself with her arms in disbelief and
embarrassment]
Gabrielle:
"Dead naked heroes."
 Xena:
Any fool can risk his life. It takes a hero to risk his heart.
Ares:
I'd sooner die in your arms, than live without you in mine.

Gabrielle-
"Life is only what you make of it."

Xena- "Even in death, Gabrielle- I will never leave you."

- Xena: See how calm the surface of the water is. That was me once. And then-- The water ripples and churns; thats what I became.
Gabrielle: But if we sit here long enough it
will go back to being still again. It will go back to being calm.
Xena: But the stones still under there. Its now
part of the lake. It might look as it did before, but its forever
changed.
Lao Mato: To conquer others is to have power; to conquer yourself
is to know the way.

Gabrielle: "Did you see the guy they want me to marry?"
Xena: "He looks like a gentle soul, that's rare in a man."
Gabrielle: "It's not the gentle part I have a problem with, it's the dull, stupid part."
Xena: "Don't confuse defending yourself with using a weapon. When you pull a sword you have to be ready to kill."

Xena to Gabrielle: "You're lucky the tree was unarmed. You could've been hurt."
Autolycus: Distracts me? A beautiful woman lying naked in a bathtub?
[Laughs]
Autolycus: ... Where was I? -
Xena: "You call that a jump?"
Gabrielle: "No, it was a frantic leap."
Xena: "May I speak to you, oh sacred one?"

Gabrielle: "You're not much for girl talk, are you? Then of course you're not like most girls."

Ares: "Pain's just nature's way of saying, 'Hey, you're alive!.'"
Callisto: "So how about it? I scratch your back, you stab mine."
 - Xena: "I guess I have more skills than I thought."
Ares: "Ding dong, the bitch is dead."
Ares; "Sometimes the best man for the job is a woman."

Gabrielle: "Most people think of death as the end, when in fact, death can be the beginning."
Gabrielle: "Have you ever considered that there isn't a safe time to be around you?"
Gabrielle: "I always bow to my enemies before I destroy them!"
